DRY COAL BENEFICIATION PLANTS
ARIA IASF Technologies India specialises in advanced Dry Coal Beneficiation Plants that upgrade low-grade coal into high-quality clean coal without using water. Our dry separation technology reduces ash content and improves coal quality. In addition, it increases calorific value and enhances combustion performance. As a result, users can achieve better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
The technology is designed for sustainability, reliability, and operational efficiency. Furthermore, it helps conserve water and supports environmentally responsible coal processing. ARIA’s dry coal beneficiation solutions enable coal producers, power plants, steel manufacturers, and industrial users to improve resource recovery and reduce transportation costs. Consequently, businesses can increase productivity, lower operating expenses, and improve overall plant profitability.

SUPER FINE ASH LIBERATION AT SUB 50 MICRONS
ARIA’s Vortex Aeroacoustics Technology uses controlled high-velocity vortex airflow and acoustic energy to create particle-to-particle collisions. As a result, ultra-fine ash is selectively separated from coal without conventional grinding. Unlike traditional milling methods, this non-contact process preserves the coal structure while releasing mineral impurities.
Ash liberation is particularly important for Indian coal because it often contains finely locked mineral matter. By separating these ultra-fine ash particles, the Vortex process improves beneficiation efficiency and enhances coal quality. Furthermore, it helps produce cleaner coal for power generation and industrial use. Consequently, the technology supports better performance in both energy and downstream chemical applications.
SUPER FINE FLUIDIZED BED BENEFICIATION
Density-based dry separation using air fluidisation and vibration to stratify superfine coal into distinct mineral layers without water.
In the ARIA Superfine Dry Fluidised Bed Beneficiation process, liberated coal powder enters a vibrating rectangular tank. Compressed air is introduced from the bottom to fluidise the material. As a result, the combined action of airflow and vibration separates particles according to their density. This creates distinct layers of carbon, alumina, silica, and heavier mineral impurities.
The material then moves along an inclined discharge ramp for further separation. At this stage, adjustable skimming plates collect each layer into separate product streams. Consequently, valuable carbon-rich material can be recovered efficiently, while mineral impurities are removed for downstream processing. Furthermore, the process improves separation accuracy and supports higher-quality beneficiation results.
CONVERTING INDIAN COAL TO IMPORTED COAL
Product ash of less than 7%, Reject ash of greater than 96%, Yield of 75% to 77%
The technology plays a vital role in India’s energy and steel sectors. By upgrading domestic thermal and coking coal, it helps reduce dependence on imported coal and strengthens national energy security. As a result, power producers can access cleaner and more efficient fuel from local resources.
In addition, the technology improves the quality of coking coal used in steel manufacturing. Lower ash content enhances coke quality, improves blast furnace efficiency, and reduces raw material consumption. Consequently, steel producers can lower production costs and improve operational performance. Furthermore, increased use of beneficiated domestic coal supports sustainable industrial growth while reducing reliance on imported coking coal and energy resources.
