Industrial Curing Ovens

Industrial curing ovens are type of industrial ovens used in various manufacturing processes to cure or bake coatings, adhesives, and other materials on a substrate. The curing process typically involves the application of heat to promote chemical reactions that lead to the hardening or setting of the material. Curing ovens are essential in industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, and general manufacturing where the curing of coatings or adhesives is a critical step.
Curing ovens play a critical role in ensuring the quality and durability of coated or bonded products in various industries. The design and features of the oven are tailored to the specific requirements of the curing process and the materials involved.
ARIA Curing ovens are designed ergonomically to maintain the heat inside the cabin longer than normal in turn reducing the burner operations to maintain the temperature. The burner operations ensure the fuel efficiency of a curing oven.
ARIA Curing ovens are also designed with temperature accuracy and uniformity in the complete cabin of the oven ensuring uniform finish on all products.
Types of Curing Ovens
Curing ovens are designed basically in two types to ensure compatibility with the application and industry in which it must be used.
Batch Type Curing Oven

ARIA Batch type curing ovens are designed to cure coated or bonded parts in a batch of few products to fit inside the cabin. This type of oven is used for very long curing time requirements and low to medium production volume requirements.
Essentially a batch type curing oven has doors on one side or both sides to ensure parts are transported with material handling system.
The part curing is undertaken in batches of 20 minutes or any ther desired curing time recommended by the paint manufacturer. Batch type curing ovens can cure wet spray painted parts and powder oated parts.
Wet spray painted parts require 70 degrees celsius temperature uniformly distributed inside the cabin. Powder coating ovens usually require 150 to 200 degrees celsius temperature unbiformly distributed in the cabin.
Applications of ARIA batch type curing oven:
Industries where in surface finishing of the products need to be achieved within 30 to 60 mins time as per the production throughput required. Finishing application usually utilizes batch type set up for large parts with less production volume requirement.
Industries where in Batch type curing ovens are used:
All industries requiring heat for their manufacturing process require batch type curing oven such as automotive manufacturing, railways and wagons manufacturing, ship building, pharmaceuticals, Aviation, oil and gas etc.
Continuous / Camel back Curing oven:

A camel back curing oven also called continuous operations curing oven has provision of overhead conveyor or floor skid type conveyor to ensure the job parts travel inside the cabin for required amount of time, the time required for curing defines the length or size of the curing oven as the parts need to be exposed to that temperature for continuous curing.
A continuous curing oven is a type of industrial oven used in manufacturing processes where materials need to be cured or hardened continuously. Here are some key features and aspects of a continuous curing oven Unlike batch ovens, which process materials in batches, continuous curing ovens operate continuously, allowing for a steady flow of materials through the curing process.
Overall, continuous curing ovens play a crucial role in modern manufacturing processes by ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality curing of materials on a continuous basis.
Applications of ARIA continuous / camelback curing oven:
All applications where in heat treatment is needed to achieve process completion or desired results for high volume production requirement. Heat treatment is required for finishing, bonding, expansion, altering substrate properties etc.
Industries where ARIA continuous / camelback curing oven are used:
All industries requiring heat for their manufacturing process require Continuous or camel back type curing oven such as automotive manufacturing, railways and wagons manufacturing, ship building, pharmaceuticals, Aviation, oil and gas etc.

We have standard sizes to suite maximum industries on our offering to ensure hassle free and quick delivieries apart from these standard sizes a complete customized solution is also available.

Variations
Aria Curing Ovens are designed to fit all applications and depending upon the production rate required and budgets of the client can have variations as below:
Variations based on mechanical equipment:

ARIA Curing Ovens can have mechanical convection for recirculating hot air inside the cabin to maintain the required temperature. These types of curing ovens are called mechanical convection ovens.
The heating systems involved in a curing oven are vast like heating elements, oil or gas burners, direct fired and heat exchanger aided all the various mechanical systems mentioned above depend on the temperature required and application for which the oven is being designed.
ARIA Curing ovens are designed to suit specific process requirements and to have maximum efficiency in utilization of fuels or energy.
Air curtains are installed on entry and exit of ARIA continuous operations curing ovens to enable heat retention.
Variations based on construction.

The basic variation in construction of curing oven is the camel back design or flat floor. In a camel back design, the center section of the cabin is raised above ground to ensure the warmest air is naturally trapped in this raised region.
Flat floor construction may need to add air curtains at entry and exit to allow heat retention.
The wall panels of curing oven are selected to provide maximum heat retention to descrease fuel consumption. Aria cvuring ovens are built with rockwool mineral insulation which is best in class for curing oven insulations. Ideally curing ovens are built with 100 mm thick rockwool insulation to ensure heat retention,
Rockwool or mineral wool has excelent insulation properties and also is non flammable material making it most safest option for high temperature ovens.
Key Features

ARIA Curing Ovens are ergonomically designed to balance efficiency and initial costs by offering three models as per client preference.
