Powder Coating Plants

Powder coating Plants enable a process of coating metals, plastic or wood with a powder which is sprayed by a gun which bonds to the parts due to opposite charged particles this bond is further increased by curing process which allows the powder to melt and form a uniform coat as per the thickness required by the client.
Powder coating booths are designed to accommodate complete parts to be coated inside an enclosed cabin with openings for spraying the powder with the aid of automated reciprocator guns or manual operator held powder guns.
The Powder booths are also designed for parts to be suspended from a manual or automated conveyor system as the parts once coated cannot be handled until complete curing process is finished. ARIA Powder Booths have been designed to adhere to all the regulatory requirements set by ATEX, EU, ISO and local by-laws of emergency services.
ARIA powder coating booths are designed for maximum efficiency by accommodating reverse pulse cartridge filters to trap and re use overspray powder and or cyclone separators with dust collectors for the same purpose.
Types Of ARIA Powder Coating Plants
Powder coating booths are constructed based on application and the dimensions of parts that need to be powder coated.
Manual Powder Coating Booth

ARIA powder booths are designed to suit the unique requirements of our clients; the manual type of powder booth is mostly used for low production rate requirements where a paint technician sprays powder on the parts with an electro-static powder gun.
Depending on the size of the powder booth the technician can stand inside the booth or can stand outside the booth and spray through an opening specially designed for spraying purposes.
The excess powder dust is extracted with a dust collection system using a cyclone separator and dust collector or by adding cartridge type filter media with reverse pulse mechanism. Manual booths are used for medium to low production rate required as this process entails batch type process.
Applications for ARIA manual powder coating booths:
Industries needing high durability finishes and scratch proof coating on their products are majorly powder coated. Powder coating usually is used in industrial products where in the desired finish is matt and not gloss.
Industries where in manual powder coating booths are used:
Parts which have heavy contact of end users and high wear on the paint finish such as ironmongery, automotive accessories, consumer electronics. Like washing machines, refrigerators etc.
Automated Powder Coating Booths

ARIA Automated powder booths are designed for completely automated / conveyorized powder coating plants. These types of booths have automatic reciprocators on booths sides of the booth to spray powder automatically
As this process of spraying is automatic and the parts are continuously moving the length of this kind of powder booth is limited to 6000 to 8000 mm. Inspection windows on both sides is provided for quality touch ups in case of reciprocating guns miss any spot on the job part.
Automatic powder booths also have dust extraction like manual booths. However, due to high volume production a cyclone separator and dust collector is more efficient for this type of application.
ARIA automated powder booths are designed to accommodate variable speeds with which part conveyor can operate and are customizable to fit maximum brand reciprocators as per client budget and preference.
Applications for ARIA automated powder coating booths:
A very high production rate requirement does not allow for a batch type process and needs continuously operating conveyorized lines consumer products which need high volume of production.
Industries where in manual powder coating booths are used:
Automotive accessories, Window frames, Blinds manufacturing, woodworking and furniture, electrical panel manufacturing, electronics and gadgets manufacturing, transformers manufacturing etc
Standard Sizes In ARIA Powder Coating Booths

Variations in Aria Powder Coating Booths
Powder coating booths can be classified based on their mechanical variations and construction design methods as below.
Aria Powder Coating booths are designed to fit all applications and depending upon the production rate required and budgets of the client can have variations as below:
Variations Based on Mechanical Equipment

ARIA Powder coating booths can have cartridge filters plus reverse pulse mechanism dust extraction or cyclone separator in line with cartridge filter dust collection depending on the products to be sprayed in a shift. Higher production calls for cyclones separator and dust collectors. Low production rates do not require an expensive dust collector system and only 4 to 6 cartridge filters are used based on air permeability of the filters to achieve adequate extraction and collection of powder dust.
In case multiple colour changes is required ARIA spray booths can be equipped with mechanical system known as quick colour change, this system allows for colour change within 30 mins with ease of extracting maximum powder of previous colour for reuse.
Variations Based on Construction

ARIA Powder booths can be designed to have paint technician inside the cabin or standing outside and spraying through a window.
Construction of powder booth can also have overhead I beam type manual crawl conveyors or automated monorail conveyors.
Key Features of ARIA Powder Coating Booths
