Three Axis Painters Platforms

Three axis painters Platforms also known as pneumatic platforms are a form of equipment installed inside a paint spray booth to allow the painter to reach the heights of a large part to be painted. Painters’ lifts are constructed to allow 3 directional movements namely long travel, front – back travel and up- down travel this enables maximum reach to all sections of the job part to be painted.
Examples of large parts to be painted inside the paint spray booth are railway wagons, aircraft, yachts, windmills, tanks and industrial products, heavy engineering machinery, Mining equipment etc.
Technical Data
There are 2 types of painters lift which are compliant to operate inside the spray booth.
Pneumatic painters’ platform:
The drives of such kind of lifts are pneumatic and require compressed air for operations, the cabin of Paint spray booth being extremely flammable zone requires no electric motors to be used for compliance and reducing risk of fire inside the cabin.
Such pneumatic platforms can be customized according to client requirement for dimensions to suit the application.
ARIA pneumatic painters’ platforms are custom made to order and can be offered as an accessory with the paint spray booth installed.
Flameproof motor painters’ platforms.
Design:
A painter’s platform is a work platform designed for painters to access and paint elevated surfaces.
Adjustability:
Platforms may be adjustable in height and can be positioned to provide painters with easy access to different parts of the work area.
Safety Features:
Safety features such as guardrails, non-slip surfaces, and secure harnessing points are incorporated to ensure the safety of painters.
Mobility:
Depending on the design, painter’s platforms may be stationary or mobile, allowing painters to move along the painted surface.
Load Capacity:
The platform is designed to support the weight of the painter, painting equipment, and any additional tools.
Integration of Flameproof Motors in Painter’s Platforms
Hazardous Environments:
In environments where flammable substances are present, it’s crucial to use equipment, including motors, that is designed to prevent the risk of ignition.
Certification Compatibility:
Ensure that the flameproof motor used in the painter’s platform is compatible with the hazardous area classification and holds the necessary certifications.
Environmental Considerations:
Consideration should be given to the specific environmental conditions of the painting area, including the presence of flammable materials and the potential for explosive atmospheres.
Maintenance and Inspection:
Regular maintenance and inspection of both the flameproof motor and the painter’s platform are essential to ensure their continued safe and reliable operation.
Before selecting or operating any equipment in potentially hazardous environments, it is critical to consult relevant safety standards, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance and the safety of personnel.
